About Jailer Kelli Elliott

Jailer Elliott has over 20 years of experience working with those involved in the criminal justice system. Prior to being elected Graves County Jailer, she had worked for community mental health centers, privately owned clinics, the Kentucky State Department of Corrections, Fulton County and Calloway County Detention Centers. She also taught psychology classes for Mid-Continent University, Southern New Hampshire University, and Summit University. Jailer Elliott has many objectives while serving as Jailer: to ensure that a new facility is built that can house Graves County's inmates, to promote a culture of integrity, professionalism, and unity among staff in the Restricted Custody Center, and to ensure that inmates leaving the facility have had opportunities to increase their life skills knowledge by participating in evidence-based cognitive restructuring classes, obtain a GED, learn job skills, and understand what community resources are available.
