THE MOST COMMONLY ASKED QUESTION IS ? WHAT IS C.E.R.T.  AND WHAT IS IT WE DO?

DUE TO THE VOLATILE NATURE OF THE JAIL ENVIROMENT, RANDY HALEY DETERMINED IN 2003 THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING A SPECIALIZED UNIT OF WELL TRAINED AND DISCIPLINED PERSONELL, THUS COMMISSIONING THE CORRECTIONAL EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (C.E.R.T.)

THIS ALL VOLUNTEER TEAM CONSISTS  OF QUALIFIED DEPUTY JAILERS, THAT ARE THEN SPECIALLY TRAINED IN HAND TO HAND COMBAT,DEFENSE TACTICS, SPECIAL WEAPONS AND A WIDE RANGE OF OTHERSUBJECTS. C.E.R.T. THIS TEAM ENABLES THE GRAVES COUNTY JAIL AND RESTRICTED CUSTODY CENTER,  TO BE SELF SUFFICIENT IN ITS ABILITY TO MAINTAIN PEACE AND ORDER

THE TEAM HAS A RANK STRUCTURE DESIGNATING THE JAILER AS  DIRECTOR OF C.E.R.T., THEN COMES COMMANDER, LT. COMMANDER, SERGEANT AND SPECIALISTS OF VARYING DEGREES.
